The BOMNAF Project has trained over 1,200 members of the Afghan and Tajik Border agencies, in Tajikistan, on the Border and at our new training centre Mazar-e-Sharif. Training in Mazar-e-Sharif has included Driving, First Aid, ICT and Navigation. These skills are all essential to the survival and operational effectiveness of the recipients in their daily duties. Until our new centre was completed, some training had to be curtailed because of poor facilities.
BOMNAF-trained Afghan Border Police Instructors have consistently demonstrated their determination to make full use of this new resource to deliver first class training to their officers, in modern, well-designed and purpose-built facilities.
