SSAFE training attended by five members of the EU-BOMNAF team

For three days five members of the EU-BOMNAF project have attended a SSAFE (Safe & Secure Approach to Field Environment) mandatory for UN staff working in Afghanistan. The training is organized and taught by professionals at the UNAMA in the Afghan capital, Kabul. During these three intense days the members of the EU-BOMNAF team learned among others about: Afghanistan Cultural awareness, Hostile surveillance, Radio Communications, Natural Disasters, Hostage Survival, Weapon Awareness and Basic Life Saving Skills. On their last day of the course they were put through a practical exercise, applying all the knowledge gained over the course of the training.
